The Forbidden Scrolls were three documents that detailed the forbidden use of maho. The most prominent of the three were the Iuchiban Scrolls, which fully detailed rituals for raising the dead, laying curses and summoning oni. The Nakanu and Yajinden Scrolls were far less detailed and reliable.[1]
