An Elephant
Elephants, or Zo, were striking creatures, very large and surprisingly intelligent. [1]
Ivory Kingdoms[]
These riding monstruous beasts were used in combat in the Ivory Kingdoms [2] and their bones were used to made ivory crafts. [3] The Ivinda venerated the elephant for its strength and ferocity in battle, and they placed an elephant's visage on one of their gods. [4]
Rokugani[]
When the Rokugani arrived in the former Ivory Kingdoms they viewed the elephants as dangerous beasts and initially went out of their way to slaughter the creatures. The Stable Master Utaku Zhang handled a domesticated group of elephants, and since that time, elephants became beasts of burden. [4]
