Elemental Vortex
Elemental Vortexes were twisted creations of the Dark Oracles. They were malevolent, sentient portals into the deepest recesses of Jigoku. [1]
Abilities[]
An Elemental Vortex existed in two places at once: it was a portal somewhere in the Shadowlands, and a portal to somewhere else, usually in Rokugan. [2] They had a number of abilities: they were invisible to those whose eyes were closed to Elements, twisted the kami around them, and were invulnerable to normal weapons. One of their ony weaknesses was their limited lifespan; they were unstable and usually dispersed after about a week. [1]
Clan War[]
In 1127 a Vortex supported the attack of Yogo Junzo's army on Shiro Iuchi. It was destroyed by the magic of the Unicorn Doomseeker Iuchi Karasu. [3]
