Doji Norei was a paint artisan of the Crane Clan who worked at Otosan Uchi. She fell in love with Ekaido, the Lord of the village of Mimura. They could not bear the relationship over such a great distance so Ekaido discretely moved her to Mimura, as the noble village painter. [1]
