Doji Noburo was a courtier of the Crane Clan and sensei of the Doji Academy.
Station[]
Noburo as nephew of Doji Kurohito, heir of his clan, represented the Crane for many a long year as an ambassador at the Imperial Court at Otosan Uchi, since the War of Spirits, through the Fall of Otosan Uchi, and continuing into the Four Winds era. When Kurohito became Crane Clan Champion Noburo had returned to the Doji Academy to pursue advanced training in rhetoric, and later back to the court where he mentored younger courtiers. [1]
True Love[]
Time after his wife's death, the attractive Daidoji Akane was appointed as his yojimbo. The two fell in love with each other, even though she was some 25 years his junior. They eventually married during the Four Winds era. [2]
Sensei[]
During Toturi III's reign Noburo was appointed as sensei in the Doji Academy, a form of semi-retirement. He was under the strict supervision of the Master Sensei Doji Norie. [3]
