Doji Konishiko was the eldest daughter of Doji herself and twin brother of Doji Konishiko. [2]
Crane Thunder[]
The fledging Empire founded by the Kami Hantei was assaulted by a dark army from the Shadowlands, led by the fallen Kami Fu Leng. [3] When Shinsei called for heroes to face Fu Leng in battle, Doji Yasurugi was the choice to serve as the Crane Clan Thunder. When the time came for him to join the others, a monstrous assassin overtook him on the road and slew him. Konishiko, who had never studied the sword, picked up the his brother's fallen blade, Shukujo, and volunteered to take her brother's place. Because she was his twin, and because Yasurugi had folded a piece of his own soul into the steel of the sword as his tengu sensei had taught him, when Konishiko held the blade, the Crane Clan Thunder lived again. Death[]
The Thunders were finally able to defeat Fu Leng, but the cost was heavy, as only Shinsei and the Scorpion Shosuro survived the fight. [4]
Shukujo's Recovery[]
The blade wielded by Konishiko, Shukujo, was lost there. [3] Yet in her sleep, Lady Doji saw images of her lost daughter, and she was convinced that Konishiko was somehow still bound to the realm of the living. Swearing to find his older sister, Doji Hayaku embarked alone on a quest into the Shadowlands, returning after three years with Shukujo. [5]
