Doji Ietomi was a magistrate of the Crane Clan whose career was ruined and became a ronin.

Ietomi was known for hunting down a high-profile Otomo murderer despite the man's political powers. He was ruined, and station, name, and holdings were all stripped from him. [1]
Paragon of Duty[]
The Crane and Imperial Families wanted to forget the incident, but he was honored as a paragon of duty by the Mantis Clan, after they discovered their journal and history. A temple devoted to him was built at Houritsu Mura in the second half of the 12th century. The Temple of the First Wasp was the only temple in Mantis lands completely dedicated to ancestor worship.
