Doji Hirofumi was one of the most prominent Crane courtiers of his day. [1]
Befriend Emperor's Sons[]
When the Emperor's first son tell deathly ill, Hirofumi began to befriend the second son, Hantei Jama, hoping that Jama would be the new Emperor and he and his clan woidd benefit from their friendship. When Jama's brother made a full and miraculous recovery, Hirofumi left Jama's side instantly to return to the heir's presence. [1]
Death[]
Hirofumi grew up, and after many years Jama returned as Iuchiban, attacking Otosan Uchi in 510 with his undead armies. Iuchiban infused the courtier with a significant amount of Shadowlands Taint, then slitted his throat. [1]
After Death[]
Hirofumi awoke in Jigoku, and has suffered eternities of torture in the centuries since. He had been forced to grant his blessing to Tainted Crane and others as directed. He was not allowed to become Lost, for it would end his suffering if he began to like what was happening. [1]
