Doji Hejiko was the Crane Clan Champion during the Rise of Iuchiban. She led the army of the Crane at the Battle of Stolen Graves in order to exact revenge on a traiterous shugenja named Asahina Jaijimin. [1] Hejiko captured Iuchiban's shireikan, Asahina Yajinden, after Iuchiban's apparent death. [2] Worried about traitors in her lands, she created the Katogama vassal family. [3]
