The Doji Academy was the major dojo of the Doji Courtier school. [1] It also taught the Doji Innocent school. [2]
Secretive[]
The dojo was located in Shizuka Toshi, the village hid within the Osari Mori. It was so remote that young courtiers in training did not have the chance to shame their clan. All the promising Crane courtiers received their training here and visitors were rarely admitted. [3]
Training[]
The students were trained to have a keen understanding that for a courtier, just about any activity could have a significance beyond itself. Almost any activity could be turned into a contest of honor with possible political consequences. Rhetoric and debating skills were crucial parts of the Doji curriculum. [4]
Benefits[]
As the most elite Doji courtier school, the students of Shizuka Toshi were highly respected among their clan, and they used to be selected to attend at least one Winter Court in their life. [5]
