Dance of the Unicorn was a Mastery 1 water spell which summoned a purifying swirling mist which washed the air clean of smoke, dust, and poisons. If the shugenja moved, the mist moved with him. [1]
Ki-rin[]
The first Ki-rin taught Otaku a curious mix of poetry and dance. Otaku did not understand the knowledge that was being given to her, and passed it to her children as the Great Mystery of the Unicorn. Several hundred years later, an Otaku joined the Iuchi Shugenja school, and understanding dawned: the unicorn's teaching was a spell. [2]
