Kurozen was a ronin bushi and duelist who joined the fledging Spider Clan as Daigotsu Kurozen and founder of the Obsidian Blade Duelist school.
Origins[]
Originally a ronin, Kurozen caught Daigotsu's attention after he was hired as a mercenary to help the Spider Clan's operations. There he was able to torture and defeat three ronin with his own cruel fighting style. [1]
A Legendary Duel[]
Impressed by his actions, the Dark Lord summoned Kurozen to a private meeting. Although no-one knew for certain what happened there, some Spider theorized that they dueled for several hours, without a clear winner in sight. Whether or not the duel really happened, or who finally won, remained uncertain. [1]
The Obsidian Blade Dojo[]
Several hours later, Kurozen departed Daigotsu's presence, now bearing his family name and the order to create the Obsidian Blade Dojo. Here, Kurozen would train other Spider duelists to operate in the heart of the Empire. [1]
