Daigotsu Azuma was a tainted bushi of the Spider Clan. Among the Spider he was known as a paragon of Shourido, the Dark Destiny. [1]
Destroyer War[]
In 1172 Azuma was supporting the sohei of the Order of Venom, who worked alongside the Daidoji Iron Warriors to destroy a force of Rokugani, some of them ronin, some deserters, and some peasants carrying extensive maps of the entire central region of the Empire who had breached the Great Wall to enter the Shadowlands. [2]

Azuma died before the end of the Destroyer War. [3]
