Daibutai were the squadrons of the Lion Clan Army and consisted of six field service Kaisha, and a Yobihei Kaisha as reserve. It was commanded by a Taisa and his mounted staff. The Taisa did not need to be mounted, he must be accessible to the messengers of the officers under his command. [1]
