The Crown of the Amethyst Champion was an ancient gaijin artifact that bore the badge of office of the Amethyst Champion. It was the crown itself that brought the wealth associated with the champion.
Abilities[]
Those who possessed the crown accrued great glory and wealth so long as it was kept safe, but should it ever be lost, the previous owner would find nothing but ruin for the remainder of their life. This was also true if the Crown was misused. The first man in Rokugan to possess the Crown realized its power, and strove to use it for the betterment of his people. He was much beloved by all, and he called himself the Amethyst Champion in recognition of the Crown's abilities. [1]
Appearance[]
The crown was made from gold of a dark hue. A massive amethyst stone of a light purple shade decorated the front. [2]
Found[]
The Crown was lost for several centuries [2] and when it was discovered once more, brought to the Imperial Families by a simple merchant seeking to be free of its temptations. The Imperial Families held the Amethyst Championship [1] who won Isawa Sawao. [3]
Destroyed[]
Eventually the Crown was destroyed. [4]
