Crimson and Jade was the fourth expansion of Legend of the Five Rings Collectible Card Game. In this set, for the first time the Minor Clans united under one banner and joined together into Yoritomo's Alliance, while the monks of the Brotherhood of Shinsei desperately sought the descendant of Shinsei, a key figure of great wisdom. This set introduced Kihos, cards that represented feats of those individuals who have learned to align their inner chi in order to perform superhuman feats. The set had starter decks for the Brotherhood of Shinsei and Yoritomo's Alliance.
