The small town called City of Vines was among only a handful of locations in Rokugan where grapes were grown in any real numbers. They were considered a delicacy by many, and the fermented beverage that the villagers produce from them had found favour with a very small number of very wealthy individuals across the Empire.[1]
Destroyer War[]
In 1173 the City of Vines was destroyed during the Destroyer War by the forces of Kali-Ma. Togashi Osawa fought the Destroyers there. [2]
