Chrysanthemum House was a geisha house at Chikuzen. It was visited by the Tsume Daimyo, Tsume Retsu after he had lost his wife during an epidemic. [1] It was a expensive and up to date fashioned geisha house, visited by rich merchants and travelers. Its only competitor in the city was the Pine House. It was run by Akiko. [2]
