Chandeyang was the northernmost Yobanjin port, which was isolated when the sea freezed in winter. It never had received visitors from Rokugan, but it was known that in rare occasions merchant ships from the Merenae, the Thrane, or other more distant lands had come there to trade. The wary inhabitants of the small city defended their homeland fiercely. [1]
