Ceaseless Vigil Watch was a large watch tower at Bishamon Seido. During engagement in battle, Kitsu Shugenja began a prayer vigil that lasted until the Lion forces emerged victorious, even it meaned weeks to end. [1] If there was danger of any unexpected attack, eight shugenja maintained the vigil at all hours. In 1159 a Tsuno Soultwister sent a Pekkle no Oni, who disguised as a servant poisoned the shugenja on vigil, and later mutilated their bodies to conceal his actions. [2]
