The Cave of Bloody Ghost Fire was located in the Shadowed Swamps. It was the resting place f Kikyo, the armor intended for Hida Atarasi and which was lost by Hida Chuku in the 10th century during his disastrous campaign in the Swamps. Unremembered and uncelebrated, the lost army became a gashadokuro, a demon bound to the armor. Kikyo remained within the Cave until it was retrieved by the Crab Clan in 1123. The massive demon was commanded to remain there, never to live that place. [1]
