Cat lands
The Cat Clan was one of the Minor Clans of Rokugan. The Nekoma family of the Cat Clan lived on a protected island off the Phoenix coast. While the family appeared to be a playful association of acrobats, actors, and noted playwrights, in truth they were a successful clan of mercenary shinobi, selling their skills as spies and assassins to the other clans. [1] The Castle of the Cat was their ancestral seat of power. [citation needed] Cat Clan villagers were welcoming and entertaining. [2]
