Castle of the Badger
The Castle of the Badger was the ancestral seat of power of the Badger Clan and home of the Ichirō daimyō. [1]

The Castle of the Badger was an enormous fortress built high on the mountainside in the center of Badger territory, overlooking the widest and most open section of the Path of Woe. The Great Games were held annually within its courtyard and on the nearby mountainside. Guest quarters for competitors were all equipped with heated baths, and had a grand dining hall where silk hangings adorned the walls. It was built near fertile ground suitable for farming, so that during an invasion, the peasant farmers can retreat to safety. A number of narrow paths and several underground passages to the castle were constructed, all of which could be collapsed or blocked if necessary. In the lowest levels of the castle were several forges and workshops. The more dangerous experiments were usually undertaken outside the castle. [1]
