Breath of Ekaido was a group of three techniques devised by Ekaido, Lord of the village of Mimura. [1]
- Rank 1: Ekaido moved with patience and skill. He was known to study an opponent for days before engaging in a kenjutsu duel, which allowed him to be hard to hit.
- Rank 2: Ekaido could pinpoint his attacks.
- Rank 3: Ekaido had harnessed his skill with the blade to the point of being nearly invulnerable. He could deny any strike on a selected part of his body during the rounds of a duel.
