Boutoku, blasphemy, was the greater of the five kansen Iuchi Mohai bound to the Ruby of Iuchiban, as protectors and servants of the stone. It tempted with maho knowledge to those who controlled the Ruby. [1] In 1151 at Kyuden Asako the stone was in hands of Asako Kyoji as a gempukku's gift, who became a bloodspeaker under Boutoku. The spirit was released, and began to teach maho to the young Maho-tsukai. In 1160 the cultist set a goal, the destruction of the Asako family. [2] Boutoku exchanged himself with the souls of several victims, as Asako Akahito, or Makiko, using their bodies for amusement. [3]
