Biwa's Heart was a friendly and relaxing teahouse in the village of Mimura which was owned by Natsuko. She served small bits of mochi with her green, black, oolong, or sorghum tea. Her business secret was two drops of apple brandy in every cup of tea, which had and effect without comparison. Each night a geisha was brought in to play the samisen and sang traditional folk songs.
