Bellflower tattoo was named after the violet blossom with five petals, representing each of the five elements. It was said that prior to entering the Shadowlands on the Day of Thunder Shinsei whispered all his secrets to a bellflower. When using the bellflower tattoo the monk became prone to deep fascination due to seeing the elements clearly. As such they were more easily affected by spells. [1]
