Bayushi Tanjaro was the Scorpion Clan Champion in the 9th century.
Shosuro Sensei[]
In 845 Tanjaro received a letter from Shosuro Kojuno, the sensei of the Shosuro school, informing him of the death of one of Kojuno's students. Shosuro Kenjo had been killed by the Ide family, who had caught him attempting to blackmail one of their family. Kojuno advised great caution with regards to the recently returned Unicorn Clan, who seemed wholly uncaring by dishonorable actions of their ancestors. Kojuno believed that if they could not be swayed by threat of dishonor, the Scorpion might have to resort to an attack to show them they could not be taken lightly.[1]
