People |
Asako Shizu was the daimyo of Aojiroi Oku Shiro. [1]
Appearence[]
Shizu was a plain-faced man in his thirties, immaculately dressed. He had a tendency to be judgemental and overbearing, and blamed the Mirumoto family for the problems between the Phoenix and the Dragon. [1]
Family[]
Shizu was married to Asako Kaorin, who died during childbirth. The couple had two children, a son Asako Sokuto and a daughter Asako Kaorin (named for her mother), both studying at Phoenix schools. [1]
Notable Staff[]
- Isawa Masahiro - karo and liason to the Isawa family. [1]
- Asako Keiko - loremaster and court historian. [1]
Tournament of the Samurai[]
During his time as daimyo there were border tensions between the Phoenix and Dragon Clan. [2] To prevent war, and bring about a peaceful solution, a tournament was held at Pale Oak Castle. The Tournament of the Samurai was an artistic tournament, with competitions in poetry, painting, dance and tea ceremony. [1]
Murder[]
Asako Shizu was murdered during the tournament. At first suspicion fell upon Mirumoto Rai, one of the Dragon delegates. It was later revealed that Shiba Reikun was the true perpetrator. [2]
