Asako Nichi was an orphan of the Clan War. He joined a Phoenix shugenja school in a time his clan was rebuilding their ranks. In 1130 Nichi and his mate Shunin were near to pass their gempukku. They had as sensei the famous Isawa Osugi, whose lesons focused on the power of human accomplishment, and the strength of free will. [1]
