Asako Kagetsu was a minor Asako daimyo and lord of Shiro Gisu. He was a rather influential Phoenix daimyo, because he had the ear of the Emperor after the many Winter Courts Kagetsu had hosted. [1]

He hosted a winter court of his family, which was attended by Hantei XXXVIII's niece, Otomo Yoroshiku. [3] There the Phoenix Clan Champion's heir, Shiba Himitsu, was found brutally murdered. [4] A retired Emerald Magistrate, Hiruma Usigo, was poisoned during the investigation. [5] Later Yoroshiku was kidnapped by a band of ronin led by a man named Niban. [6]
