Asahina Yumiko was an Air shugenja and one of the founders of the Tsangusuri Academy, becoming its first sensei. [1]
Appearance[]
Yumiko a peaceful girl not of a great beauty. She wore her long black hair woven with jewels gold filament. [2]
Early Years[]
Yumiko was born during the Clan War, so she grew up during the reconstruction of the Empire. She was devoted to the art of origami, joining the Kakita Artisan Academy, where she was discovered to have potential as a shugenja. [2]
Tsangusuri[]
Yumiko was moved to the Asahina Temples, taught by Asahina Tsunemura, who would become one of her chief sponsors when she wished to create a tsangusuri school at Prosperous Plains City. Yumiko was able to create powerful nemuranai, and each year she judged the winner of the talisman contest held at Shower of Beauty Festival. [2]
