Isawa Nariaki was a disgraced Ishiken who passed The Forgetting and was casted out in the 6th century becoming Nariaki. In 1133 he was one of the Returned Spirits who were back at Rokugan through Oblivion's Gate. [1] Having recovered his abilities through his resurrection, [2] Nariaki distinguished himself in caring for the wounded after the Battle of Oblivion's Gate. He accepted the Asahina's offer of fealty and family becoming Asahina Nariaki. Nariaki married with an Asahina healer and had several children, between them Asahina Hira. [1]
