Ancestral Shrines of Otosan Uchi

Ancestral Mausoleum

The Ancestral Mausoleum was the final resting place of the greates heroes of the seven Clans. It was located in the Hinjaku district of Otosan Uchi.

Iuchiban[]

In the Battle of Stolen Graves the sorcerer Iuchiban raised their bodies as zombies. Afterwared there was a monument raised here to commemorate the victory with the names of those who defeated the Bloodspeaker. [1] The enchanted weapons that helped to slay Iuchiban, the katanas, yari and yumi were buried there. [2]

Fall of Otosan Uchi[]

In 1159, during the Fall of Otosan Uchi, the Mausoleum was pillaged by Jama Suru and the Nightmare of the Lion Clan, Nikushimi, and the Tsuno. [3] They stole the ashes of those who defeated Iuchiban and the weapons they had used. Seppun Yoshifusa was killed while defending the mausoleum, and the lone survivor was the samurai-ko Ikoma Risa. [4]
