Ancestral Guidance
Ancestral Guidance was a Mastery 4 mystical void kiho that allowed the monk to speak with any spirits within his area while in a deep meditative trance. This would normally allow the monk to commune with ancestors present in the area around their descendants, but it could also create a link with restless spirits such as beings from Toshigoku, Meido or Gaki-do. Once communication had begun the monk might ask the spirit only a limited number of questions, but spirits were notorious for their cryptic responses. [1] [2]
