Akodo Matoko was a bushi of the Lion Clan.

Matoko married to Daidoji Utsugiri, and they lived in harmony, having a daughter, Akodo Mikiu. [1]
War Between Clans[]
Shortly after their daughter passed her gempuku, tensions between the Lion and Crane Clan erupted. Utsugiri abandoned his wife to join the Crane armies. Makoto indulged herself in the sake houses of Otosan Uchi. Matoko was part of the Lion contigent who assisted to the marriage of her Lord Akodo Toturi to Isawa Kaede. [1]
