Akodo Kojima of House Damasu was the lord of the Kyotei Castle in the Kintani Valley and the Damasu Daimyo. He died against the forces of the aggresive Tsume Daimyo Tsume Retsu. [1]
Defunct family[]
In 1118 [2] the Damasu family was wiped out to a man when Retsu commanded the defeated family's execution and the seppuku of all its samurai. [3] The only survivor of his family was his daughter Damasu Reika, who twenty years later took proper revenge killing Retsu. [4]
