Akodo Areru was a bushi and commander of the Lion Clan, and the commander of the Fourth Imperial Legion. His mother married a Scorpion, but he was fostered back into the Lion. [1]
Commander of the Legion[]
In 1171 Moto Jin-sahn, Shogun and general of the Imperial Legions appointed Areru to the Fourth Imperial Legion. [2]
Destroyer War[]
Ashio[]
In 1173 during the Destroyer War Areru's Legion abandoned the village of Ashio as an unsupportable position against the forces of Kali-Ma. The local terrain created a terrible bottleneck. [3]
Palace of Crimson Shadows[]
From the enemy lines arrived Doji Yasuyo, who reported her view on the battle of Ashio. Areru had moved to defend the Palace of Crimson Shadows, the next target of the Destroyers. [3]
Death[]
The exact fate of Areru was unknown but he was dead before the end of the 12th century. [4]
