The Agamatori Temple sat alongside the Wise Snake Pass Road in the village of Mimura. The monks there cared a nearby beautiful red and black torii arch. [1] It was built in 1124 [2] with donations by Doji Agatamori, and once it was visited by the Emperor Hantei XXXVIII. [3] Asahina Goro was the abbot at that time. [4]
