Culture[]
- 1 - Fall of the Kami. This event marks the beginning of Isawa Calendar.
- Seppun meets the Kami in Seppun Hill.
- The borders between Jigoku and Yomi are broken.
- 5 - The Tournament of the Kami is held.
- Hantei becomes the Emperor of the Emerald Empire.
- Each Kami is the founder of one of the seven Great Clans, to rule Rokugan under the authority of the Hantei. The Kami begin to recruit followers.
- Otosan Uchi is founded at Seppun Hill as the capital of the Empire. The Ekohikei is begun to being built.
- Koku is established as the Empire's currency.
- Akodo writes Leadership.
- Kakita becomes the first Emerald Champion. He later marries Doji.
- Kakita writes The Sword. His rival Mirumoto Hojatsu writes Niten.
- Isawa, leader of the Tribe of Isawa, writes Elements.
- Agasha discovers many healing practices that are foundations of medicine.
- Tea Ceremony is invented by Lady Doji.
- 39 - Fu Leng claims its right to challenge Hantei for leadership. Togashi champions his brother and chose all Rokugan as a weapon. Fu Leng retreated to the Shadowlands to fight his brothers with his own army.
- Shiba kneels to Isawa.
- Shinsei and Hantei held an audience. The Tao of Shinsei is recorded by Shiba.
- The Enchanted Wall is built.
- 42 - Shinsei and the Seven Thunders enter the Shadowlands.
- Fu Leng is forcibly bound to the twelve Black Scrolls. The War Against Fu Leng ends. Beginning of the Thousand Years of Peace.
- Shinsei and Shosuro return to the Empire. The Black Scrolls are given to the Scorpion Clan for safekeeping.
- Yomi is brought into the Heavens.
- Emma-Ō descends from the Heavens and reconquered part of the underworld, Meido, Gaki-dō, and Tōshigoku, from the forces of Jigoku.
- 45 - Doji Hayaku returns from the Shadowlands wielding the sword Shukujo.
- The Daidoji family is founded with Hayaku as its daimyō.
- Shinjo and the Ki-Rin Clan leave Rokugan.
- Hantei Genji becomes the second Emperor of Rokugan.
- Bayushi writes Lies.
- Imperial Winter Courts begins its tradition to be held out of Otosan Uchi.
- Foundation of Kyūden Mantis.
- Ikoma Noritobe writes The Prince of Heaven.
- The Ikoma Libraries become the officially recognized repository of the recorded history of the Empire.
