- The Lion Clan cease their support to the Scorpion in the War of the Twins conflict.

- Kyuden Otomo hosts the Imperial Winter Court.
- Shiba Tsukimi and Bayushi Nitoshi agree to decide the victory of the War of the Twins through a personal duel.
Month of the Ox[]
- Bayushi Nitoshi defeats Shiba Tsukimi, earning the victory in the war they have been waged.
- Isawa Kimi uses the Void to heal the poisoned wound dealt by Nitoshi to Tsukimi, saving the life of the Phoenix Champion. Tsukimi loses her vision, but as a side effect of Kimi's intervention gains a supernatural conscience.
