- The Skin of Fu Leng, a Black Scroll, is opened by Bayushi Shoju.
- The Watchtower of Sun's Shadow is overrun by the forces of Akuma no Oni.
- Akuma no Oni broke through the Kaiu Wall. The oni lord's horde nearly overrun the defenses of the Crab Clan, reaching the Shinomen Mori itself.
- Earthquakes began to happen in the Yakeishi Province.
Month of Akodo[]
- An Imperial Court is held in the tenth day, issuing a new Imperial Edict: no Imperial Laws will be ammended, repealed, proposed or enacted until a new Emerald Champion is selected through the Emerald Tournament to fill the vacant post.
Month of Doji[]
- Iuchi Shahai begins to teach the concepts of meishōdō to members of the Hidden Guard.
Month of Shinjo[]
- In the twenty fourth day Daidoji forces fail to retake Kyūden Kakita in their sixth attempt.
Month of Hida[]
- In the eighth day Bayushi Shoju is removed as Scorpion Champion, his wife Bayushi Kachiko becomes the new Champion, and in turn she passes the mantle to Bayushi Yojiro.
- In the eleventh day Matsu Tsuko's army reaches Toshi Ranbo.
- In the fifteenth day Matsu Tsuko decides to cease hostilities with the Unicorn, to halt her seek of vengeance for her late betrothed, and to join the rest of the Great Clans in order to defeat the usurpers at Otosan Uchi.
- In the seventeenth day Shinjo Altansarnai choses to join her forces with the Lion Clan against the usurpers.
- In the eighteenth day an assembled army of Crane, Lion, Phoenix, Scorpion, and Unicorn samurai marche together to seize Otosan Uchi. The Army of the Rising Waves joins then and quarrel the usurper's forces within the Forbidden City.
Month of Togashi[]
- In the fifth Day Akuma no Oni's horde marchs across the Crab provinces with the discipline of a well-trained Shadowlands army.
- In the ninth day the assembled forces of the Crab, Fox, Falcon, Sparrow, Mantis, Wasp, and the Otter Clan, are bolstered by the Phoenix to stop the advance into the Shinomen of the Akuma no Oni's forces.
- In the twelfth day the combined armies of the Great Clans begins the assault of the Forbidden City. The soul of the fallen Lion Champion Akodo Arasou is summoned and he exhorts the defenders, Lion and Imperial forces, to put down arms. Mirumoto Hitomi wielding Itsuwari, the Ancestral Sword of the Scorpion Clan, strikes down the usurper, Bayushi Shoju.
- In the thirteenth day the Dragon Clan army led by Togashi Yokuni joins the Rokugani forces who stands against the Shadowlands horde.
- In the fourteenth day the Temple of the Ninth Kami, where the Seven Thunders fought the Ninth Kami, where Fu Leng fell, is found by a group of Rokugani. The Battle of Cherry Blossom Snow the assembled Rokugani forces defeat the Shadowlands army of Akuma no Oni.
